Moonlight Abstractions

Somehow I’m still attracted to the idea of presenting sequential images as short films with or without audio. Maybe it dates back to my first job in the early 70s producing slide shows for a corporation. But more than that still image films can be seen as a celebration of photography that also tells a story. I won’t go so far as to say that the sum of the images is greater than the individual photos but it does show the versatility of photography to be used as a building block of pictures that present a message of some kind. Indeed the aesthetics of setting up image sequences adds power to the individual images compared to viewing them solo. More on this later.
